What is Breathwork? [3:15]

  • [6:00] It’s all about the mind, body, soul connection. If you don’t have internal peace, your external is a reflection of your internal.
  • [7:30] Breathwork is a very active energetic practice. It’s meditation or a passive practice, you’re in a conscious breath pattern that lets us slip into the subconscious mind.
  • [10:00] Start slowly. Book a one-on-one practice. Know that you’re in a very safe space.
  • [10:30] Starting with embodiment practices is a great way to begin as well. 
  • [12:30] What really helped me was starting to spend time with myself.
  • [14:00] You are your own greatest healer. The best book you’ll ever read is the book you write yourself.

Jamie’s Message [17:30]

  • [18:00] I left my career when I should have been moving up in the company and I started something new.
  • [18:45] You’re never to old: to live you life, to live your dreams
  • [19:00] Your worth is not defined by your ability to be loved by someone else. Your worth is in you and you’re worthy because you are you.
  • [20:00] When I focused less on how my life looked and more on how my life felt, I felt more present. 
  • [24:00] Health is a feeling, not a look!
  • [25:00] We think that happiness lies in looks, but it has nothing to do with the outside. It’s created on the inside.

Trusting Yourself [26:00]

  • [26:30] Find evidence of trusting yourself and build on evidence. 
  • [27:00] Make small decisions instead of making it something big. You can look back and say, ‘Oh I did that!’.
  • [30:30] We all need to go through life knowing that we are the main character! We are not the side character for everyone else.
  • [35:00] Can I be okay where I am? Can I love myself where I am? Can I accept myself where I am? Can I make one step to go to the next place?
  • [37:30] Give yourself grace and separate yourself from the stories you're telling yourself.
  • [43:00] The more we’re able to live in our truest desire, the more radiant we become, the more our needs are met, the more abundance in every way comes in because we’re in alignment.
  • [48:00] Part of the human experience is struggle and mess. The more you can embrace that instead of making it something about you, that’s when life gets so much easier.
  • [51:00] You can be in paradise, but if your inner world isn’t paradise you won’t be able to enjoy it.
  • [54:00] There’s a difference between happiness and a distraction from sadness.
  • [55:00]If you can’t be grateful for a cup of coffee, how are you going to be grateful for anything else? If you aren’t grateful for yourself or the people in your life, how can you be grateful for a partner or anyone else?
  • [59:30] Things that happened yesterday don't control my peace today.
  • [1:01:00] How am I going to get depth if I’m not willing to go deep?
